Holidays are over and so is the little bike ride time-out we all had. But there are still enough days this year to catch up! With most of the people still with their families, we had the streets almost to ourselves.
We took the road along the lake and included a nice ferry traverse.

Geez 24 hours in Berlin and I’ve got all my shopping done already. Thank god its christmas tomorrow and i dont need to get any more presents cuz I’m way broke… but you know.. I do enjoy buying presents!

As the winter is knocking at the door already, every sunny, good-weather day pushes you on the bike vigorously. So I did a ride to Zurich’s suburbs. Very interesting and at the same time totally strange environment. They built up a big scaled urban district. A lot of houses, business buildings and a huge park. And also a lot of streets. The only thing that’s missing are the people. And no bikes out there either. So I had all the bike lanes for myself and rode all the way out to the airport. I really like that feeling of departing and arriving. Always good to do rides on the outskirts and see how your city grows.

So for my main man Frank and I No-Shave-November just ended. And while I have the feeling that he’ll keep going for a while (i have to say that I did start earlier than november), i decided to get rid of some of the facial hair. I felt bad cause it really felt like an accomplishment of sorts, and for whomever has never done it, i can really recommend it. let that shit grow. I’m not saying it IS an accomplishment, not at all, haha, of course there is always dudes with a bigger beard, but for me it was awesome. So to commemorate it all I took some pics yesterday.
I really had to take some pics with the Hickman coat as well.. and my waxy DQM cap, I always felt best about my beardyness in that combo. so there you go.. here is me embarrassing myself:
